Journal Publication

UF-AALR connects researchers with appropriate peer-reviewed journal publication opportunities through journal partners, scholarly networks, and responsible publication practices. Publication opportunities depend on research field, manuscript quality, journal scope, editorial requirements, indexing status, applicable Article Processing Charges (APCs), and availability.

Publication Pathways

01. Scopus & Web of Science Journal Opportunities

UF-AALR facilitates publication pathways with selected partner journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Due to publisher agreements and partner confidentiality, specific journal details are not publicly displayed. Relevant journal information is disclosed to eligible authors following a preliminary manuscript assessment and agreement to applicable terms.

All manuscripts remain subject to the journal’s independent peer review, scope alignment, editorial decisions, fees, and availability. Disclosure of a journal opportunity does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

How the Publication Pathway Works

Submit an Enquiry

Share your manuscript title, abstract, research field, target indexing requirements, and publication preferences.

Journal Matching

Potential journals are identified based on research scope, indexing requirements, Article Processing Charges (APCs), publication conditions, and current availability.

Author Review & Decision

Review the proposed journal's scope, indexing status, APC or other applicable fees, publisher policies, expected requirements, and publication conditions before deciding to proceed.

Editorial & Manuscript Support

Where required, UF-AALR may provide or coordinate academic editing, language proofreading, formatting, reference checking, and manuscript preparation support. These services are intended to improve submission readiness and do not influence or guarantee journal acceptance.

Submission & Peer Review

The prepared manuscript is submitted to the selected journal and enters its independent editorial assessment and peer-review process.

Editorial Decision & Publication

Final acceptance, revision, or rejection remains solely with the respective journal or editorial authority. Following acceptance, authors complete any applicable APC/payment and publisher requirements before final publication.

Publication Guidelines

UF-AALR promotes responsible research and publication practices across all supported publication pathways. Authors are expected to comply with the requirements of their selected journal or publisher in addition to the general principles outlined below.

Important Notice: Requirements may vary between journals. The specific author guidelines, ethical requirements, and editorial policies of the target journal or publisher take precedence where applicable.

Manuscript Preparation

Submissions should be complete, clearly written, appropriately structured, and prepared according to the target journal's requirements. Authors should ensure appropriate title and abstract preparation, keywords, manuscript structure, tables and figures, references and citations, supplementary materials, and required declarations. The journal's official template and formatting requirements should be followed where provided.

Originality & Research Integrity

Submitted work must be original and not previously published, except where legitimate prior dissemination is disclosed and permitted by the target journal. Authors are responsible for avoiding plagiarism, inappropriate text recycling, duplicate publication, fabricated or falsified data, citation manipulation, and other forms of research misconduct.

Authorship & Contributions

All listed authors should have made a genuine scholarly contribution to the work and approve the final manuscript. Guest, honorary, purchased, or otherwise inappropriate authorship is not acceptable. Changes to authorship should follow the requirements of the respective journal.

Research Ethics & Data Responsibility

Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must have appropriate institutional ethical approval where required. Authors must provide verifiable IRB/REC/Ethics Review Board approval documentation from the relevant institution upon request and remain responsible for the integrity and lawful use of their research data.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

Authors must declare any use of AI-assisted tools in accordance with the target journal's policy and remain fully responsible for all submitted content. AI tools cannot be listed as authors or used to fabricate or misrepresent data, citations, results, images, or evidence.

Editorial, Proofreading & Manuscript Support

UF-AALR may provide or coordinate academic editing, language proofreading, manuscript formatting, reference checking, tables and figures, and submission preparation. These services support manuscript quality and readiness but do not influence peer review or guarantee journal acceptance; authors remain responsible for reviewing and approving the final manuscript.

Data Analysis & Research Support

UF-AALR may provide or coordinate statistical, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data visualization, tables and figures, results interpretation, and research reporting based solely on authentic and lawfully obtained research data. Support must follow appropriate analytical methods and must never involve data fabrication, falsification, manipulation, or alteration of results to achieve a preferred outcome; authors remain responsible for their data, methodology, interpretation, and conclusions.

Journal Selection & Indexing

Journal recommendations consider research scope, journal relevance, current indexing status, publisher requirements, APCs/fees, publication model, and availability. Scopus, Web of Science, and other indexing databases are independent third-party services; inclusion, continued coverage, or removal is determined solely by the respective indexing body and cannot be guaranteed by UF-AALR. Indexing status should be verified at the time of submission and does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or publication, unless agreed.

APCs & Publication Fees

Authors should be informed of known Article Processing Charges (APCs), publication fees, or other applicable charges before proceeding with a publication pathway. APCs and other charges are separate from editorial acceptance and must never be represented as payment for guaranteed publication or a favorable editorial decision. Any separate UF-AALR support-service fees should also be clearly distinguished from journal or publisher charges.

Peer Review & Editorial Independence

Manuscripts submitted to peer-reviewed journals are subject to the independent editorial and peer-review procedures of the respective journal.

Conflicts of Interest & Funding

Authors should disclose relevant financial, institutional, professional, or personal conflicts of interest where required. Funding sources and the role of funders should also be disclosed in accordance with the target journal's policies.

Corrections, Retractions & Post-Publication Matters

Published work remains subject to the policies of the respective journal or publisher concerning corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, complaints, and other post-publication actions. Authors are expected to cooperate when legitimate corrections or clarifications are required.

Author Responsibility

Authors retain responsibility for the originality, accuracy, integrity, ethical compliance, data, analysis, references, conclusions, and final content of their manuscripts, including manuscripts that have received editorial, analytical, or technical support.
